Our Young People
Love4Life works with 11-18 year olds who identify as girls,
or who experience the particular challenges associated with being assigned female at birth. We are a
diverse and inclusive service and if you are comfortable being supported by us,
we will do our best to help.
We work across Leicestershire, Leicester & Derby City.
Our services are designed to benefit young people who may be
particularly vulnerable or who are in need of emotional and wellbeing support
not currently being provided by their school or other services.
In particular, we work with young people who are:
- At risk of or in unhealthy relationships
- Not engaging with schools and essential service
- From disrupted home backgrounds with little or
no parental support
- Displaying poor wellbeing or mental health
- Lacking in self-esteem or confidence
- Displaying concerning sexual behaviours
- Engaging in sexting or other unsafe online behaviours
- Demonstrating other negative behaviours that are impacting their lives & relationships
Whilst we aim to target areas of deprivation where our work
may be especially needed, there is no income or background requirement to
access our services. We recognise that
these issues can impact young people from all backgrounds and anyone may be in
need of additional support.

Inclusivity Statement
Love4Life welcomes all girls aged 11-18: including trans-girls. If you identify as non-binary and are comfortable being supported by a girl's service, we are happy to help you. We are finding that more young people across our service are identifying as they/them as well as she/her and we want to ensure they feel welcome at Love4Life!
Although we do not provide support specifically tailored to LGBTQ+ young people we endeavour to be as inclusive as possible in our sessions, and we will signpost to any relevant services available to young people in their area.
Every Love4Life referral is considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure that our support will be helpful to/worthwhile for them.
